Mine do the same, but they do turn off when you manually switch the light off, from the auto function

They also do turn fully off after the car fully shuts down, nothing to worry about Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Just noticed to night that my newly fitted interior LEDS are not shutting down properly and have the dim glow when driving, and the shame when the cars locked. Its only the two Festoon bulbs in the main cabin, the one in the boot shuts off straight away along with the two footwell one's

Will it be the bulbs or as Nick suggests something to do with the electrical system and do other LED bulbs work

Other leds work as I posted a little earlier in this thread. The led replacements for the festoon lamps that I used turn off completely, no dull glow, nothing.

I've just noticed, after having a look at my car, that you have 2 map lights, as well as the interior light. Where as I only have the interior light.

Does anyone know if this is because I have an XS, and yours is higher model? Or because yours is Australian?

Always thought that when the passenger needs the light on to read the map/magazine or use iPod/Nintendo DS, it's very off putting.

sounds like someone fitted an upgraded light in your car, cheap enough available on ebay or ford dealers, I'm guessing you didnt own it from new? At work

Map light weren't standard on the 08 HSE, so I doubt they will have been standard on the lower spec on an earlier year.
They are cheap enough to buy from the dealers - mine was cheaper than ebay.

Not always true that they up the spec on subsiquent years, as they no longer fit audio to the rear seats that they used to fit - not that we have ever used it. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Dome lights have 42mm festoons. In the boot I belive that bulb is smaller (36 mm?). I fitted the 42mm in the boot, but it involved some streching Wink

You only need canbus LED in the side lights - all the rest (Wing mirror/door puddle/footwell/interior) I have std LED and work great Thumbs Up

Unless you have a MY10 where you 'will' need the canbus safe type! Thumbs Up

I've just fitted a couple of 8 LED canbus safe replacements in the front side lights which were looking distinctly dingy after the Halfrauds +120s were fitted to all both main and dip. Brilliant Thumbs Up is the right word I think I paid £4 delivered from e-bay for the pair. Having skimmed through the various threads on this, is the boot light 39mm or 42mm?

Is 39mm just right with 42mm requiring some 'tweaking' ?!

I'm guessing the interiors are 42mm? Bow down 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

I put a 37mm festoon in the boot and 42mm for the interior, I feel 42mm is still a bit loose maybe 44mm would be better.
