MOT Warranty?

Hi All,
Can anybody tell me what MOT warranty is please?

if its the one that comes with LR extended warranty, it covers you for upto £750 if anything fails on the mot - even if it is a wear and tear item. There is a £50 excess to pay, no matter how much of the £750 is used. My previous D3 failed it 3rd MOT because of excessively rusted front brake discs - all I had to pay was the £50 excess Very Happy

I was told that it does not include wear and tear items like tyres, discs and pads but did include my track control arm.
I think thats the problem with these warranties - GREY AREAS like wear and tear!!!
