its something i have always thought of, but it would be very expensive, the Musee Memorial de la Bataille de Normandie is at Bayeux is 4 hours drive from Calais and has one of the British war graves opposite it

Not easy but not a nightmare, all the places mentioned are in a fairly near proximity of each other. We would need to organise either ferry or the tunnel and drive down to our destination with a night or two stay over.

Been to most of those places a few years ago, it was a good holiday, a bit far for a fl2/RRS meet though.

its a big pad apperaently he parks his military vehicles there, with sleeping arrangment for all the drivers and hangers-on.
