Nothing to report on mine - did two 25 minute motorway runs on Sunday and no problems.

Not sure about how long it took to replace the sensor and recalibrate.. The first time, I dropped the car off Friday afternoon - and was told they wouldnt have time to start working on it until Monday. Got the call to pick the car up Monday lunch time - so possibly a sit and wait job. The second time they took a bit longer and with the extended test drive took a couple of days. Wouldnt have liked to sit and wait for that - although the chocolate from the vending machine was rather tasty. |

It's done it again. Left it sat all day then wouldn't start up first press of the button.

You really need to have the fault codes read to give a starting point to work out what is wrong! Even a cheap code reader can be useful. However it sounds like you have more than 1 issue to sort! The non starting problem sounds like a starter solenoid issue which is fairly common and a search on the forum with that title should bring up lots of info. Luckily it is an easy fix. The reduced performance could be something as simple as a blocked fuel filter, again lots of info on the forum. Some more info like engine, mileage, last service etc might help others give advice but the fault codes would be top of that list! Good luck! |
