Build date for my FL2 GS with winter pack has been moved from 5th to 11th October. Delivery scheduled for 24th. Is it normal for that many working days between build and delivery? |

I could do even better than that; still have the 1986 Austin Rover brochure for my original Montego estate AND my old man's MG Maestro EFi It makes me laugh when people think that the 150bhp TD4 might need more power; you don't know the meaning of "needs more power" until you've tried taking a partially laden, 86 bhp, 1.6 Montego estate through the Hardknott and Wrynose passes in Cumbria! |

Dealer rang lunchtime to say our TD4 HSE has been delivered. Well under his original estimate of 12-16 weeks. Could have it Saturday but arranged to collect on Monday as we are away at a reunion this weekend. Andy |

Unless you've ordered something extra special I'd be seriously unimpressed and would be asking the Dealer to explain when he actually placed the order, why it is taking so long, when it is going to arrive and what extras he's going to throw in for keeping you waiting so long. |

It was said on Friday that 80% of the Halewoood production is destined for overseas, it was also said that three Evoques are built against one Freelander, but from what was seen I would have said it was more like five or six Evoques to one Freelander. From what was seen coming down the line it was one Freelander followed by five or six Evoques, at no point did I see two Freelanders together on the line. |
