You could also try inserting the problem fob upside down - it will let you start the car but will not recharge when inserted the wrong way up - might confirm whether the fob is indeed faulty. |

Maybe Alex could answer this, I believe the key has a rolling code for the immobiliser, ie: changes every time it is used.

Hi Merlin - first job is take it back to the garage where you bought it. For sure a key is going to be an arm (probably both ) and a leg. |

Don't be tempted by buying a replacement on Ebay unless it is 'guaranteed' brand new.
