Most cars I've had locks itself if the car door isn't opened within a certain time. Just a security measure in case you accidentally unlock the car with your key fob, in your pocket for example.
My wife had an S2000 and had no probs fitting the shopping in it, the same as when she had an MR2... your wife must get a LOT of shopping, or mine, not enough! |

I stupidly unlocked the bootlid of my FL2 using the boot opener on the fob. Placed the keys on the floor of the boot whilst I put in the shopping. You guessed it I then closed the boot and it locked. 27mile drive for the wife and kids there and back with the spare key, she only ever said one word T**T.

It's been a common feature for years I believe. Even my '97 Audi A6 did that! |
