Because sometimes I am quite lazy, I've kept postpone the changing of the winter tires with the summer ones.
With this occasion I've realized how good are these winter tires for off-road purposes. Lots of grip on almost any surface.
As for model and manufacturer, I've decided to give a chance to Snow Viva from Nankang taiwanese company.
And I never regretted the choice. Very good tires: winter, wet, street, off-road.

Yes, DRL on high beams. I've made a small modification.
By relay separation of the high beam halogen bulbs, they can be connected in series and powered up by a simple logic only when the engine is running and when the light switch is on "zero" position.
Being in series, the bulb's light intensity is much lower and doesn't dazzle the incoming drivers. More of that, because of the low voltage (aprox. 6-7 volts per bulb) their light is amber and seen from a much bigger distance. And being on high beam also helps to be seen from a great distance.
When the light switch is moved on other positions than "zero", or when giving flashes, the relays switches back the bulbs on the original default mode.
