A friend of mine has just picked up an 11 plate sd4 Hse with 5000 miles on it for £27000, apparently the dealer needed the sale in august. So it's worth shopping around a bit. But would you be happy with an sd4? Or would you then want more? |

Stick with what you have. You know the history, like the drive and more importantly it will cost you nothing! |

Have some extra long test drives or see if you can have it for an afternoon, might help make your mind up.

I was under the impression that 2007 models had a 160 bhp 2.2 litre diesel engine.

The TD4 has the same motor as the older version but now with DPF fitted which reduces the bhp from 160 to 152. Dont know were the 150 bhp figure comes from 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

The newer SD4 engine is 190bhp, the newer TD4 manual is now 150bhp but has more torque so you don't miss the loss of bhp Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |
