That's a ridiculous price, even the RRP is £54.17 a pair front or back and the site sponsor 'Duckworths' will do them for £46.05 Smile , but then add the VAT Sad

I just had a quote from Stratstone Nottingham for mud flaps.

£154 + VAT for front not Inc fitting

£154 + VAT for back not Inc fitting

£130 to fit the front ones and £99 to fit the back ones. That's a total of nearly £600.

The guy said 'when shall we book you in?'
Rolling with laughter

They're having a laugh... when I checked the price with Marshall's of Cambridge I'm fairly certain the LR list price was £59 front and £69 rear + fitting + the VAT Freelander 1 TD4 HSE - gone, 2 weeks after the Cat.Converter!

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Stornoway Grey

The genuine LR rear mud flaps are very easy to fit - just a matter of undoing a few screws from memory but the fronts involved cutting the inner wheel arch liners on 11MY to fit the brackets, which was a bit of a pig and the reason I didn't bother with my new 12MY. However, are they having a laugh with the prices quoted or what?

A note to others

I've just fitted the spats to my beloved
Car using the 'cut off spigot and use a self
Tapping screw' method.

I'm an idiot. So if I can do it anyone can fit
These puppies.

Next, a test drive.......
