Yep know wht you mean , they would tow a house if they could ! Having said that there are about 40 posts about towing vans to spain etc and not one bad report other then difficulty keeping speed down ! Quite impressed actually. The 163 bhp auto seems very goood much better than the original 140 bhp. |

Personally, I wouldn't take any notice of any mpg figures quoted. Instead, I would take one for a long test drive and reset the computer at the start and take an average reading at the end. The reading I got out of the 100 mile test drive on the Freelander pretty much equals what I've got out of it over the first 5 weeks and 4,000 miles.
