If they do, they are a fine bunch of people and I recommend them to all my friends, what a range of vehicles, so well designed and built with such care.
Anyone who posts on here anything to contrary, is obviously just spamming probably jealous honda, toyota and hyundia owners, bunch of liars they are

Give it its due - Landyzone is brilliant for people with 20-year old vehicles (and leaking sunroofs). Not a lot of interest there in recent vehicles though, so LR wouldn't be interested, and to see anything on FR2 you have to trawl through all the posts about blown head gaskets and doors falling off. At least it doesn't have threads on which polish to use... Whistle

if L/r do read the Forum why dont they offer to intervene when some people are experinceing chronic issues ! ? is this because they dont have the balls or experince in customer service or the fact that the product is poor and they cant improve it !

My Dad went on a Talk-talk Forum once with a diabolical story of customer service and week later the CEO of Talk talk was in direct discussion with him and problems solved in days ! including compensation. Now thats what I call customer service and totally unexpected, especially as the Forum was not run by Talk talk.
Not only was it resolved very quickly but he has remained with talk talk.

If manufacturer's became known for intervening only when customers' problems (both real and imagined) became aired on websites, they could be making the situation worse as a few disgruntled owners became aware that filling websites with bad PR might get results they couldn't otherwise achieve.

I don't image they take too much notice of people's requests for what they'd like to see in a new car either; what people say they would like and what they eventually buy are often two completely different things! Choosing a new car is very rarely a rational decision Rolling Eyes

You're right to correct me there chicken george; green isn't chosen for rational reasons, it's purely down to having good taste Razz

Hey Tigger!

I agree - I've got Tonga Green - it was a very rational decision - looks fantastic when polished (just as black does Whistle ) 2002 Honda VFR800

Anyone can read this forum including people from the dealers that we slag off, So if you DO, make sure you and your car can't be identified through pictures with your reg on etc.
A dealer that I had called a bunch of idiots instead of contacting me to see if they could put things right instead decided to inform Landrover that I had posted on this forum that I had a superchip remap and decided to void my warranty on anything drive train related.
By the way it was Kentdale Landrover and the head salesman is a rude arrogant bellend, who cost them 2 new purchases (FL1 then a FL2) and the old duffer who was on the parts dept. didn't know there was 2 TD4 engines, when he gave me the wrong service items doh

Well If landrover read and see that they are being slagged off then then they should begin to wonder why, it only takes half a brain cell t. :to work out theres something wrong.
With that said, if they were to spend more time sorting out problems then their rep would increase leading to more sales and after service. Seems to me to be a no brainer. If you have good sevice your gonna keep going back .
