What kind of noise?
From where exactly?
What you have there in the picture is the entrance to the Haldex coupling. Generation 3 of Haldex coupling.
The black cylindrical object is the Haldex electrical pump/motor and the dotted box (with 2 connectors, one going to the pump) is the Haldex ECU.

Any gear's down-change generates a reverse torque.
Accompanying this hardware (bearing) change, there is a software update which address the reverse torque limitation inside Haldex clutch to reduce the bearing's static load. So in your case too, this could solve the problem.
But because the noise is already heard, then the bearing must be changed too. It could already be a goner.
