Lowest Mileage Second Hand buys

I never forget the day I picked up my very first car from a Ford dealer - a Ford Fiesta 1989 Pop Plus, it was 5 years old and had covered only 18000 miles in that time. It smelt, drove and looked like a brand new car. I was having a gander on ebay today coz im bored at work and came across a 1994 M Reg Fiesta for sale with a genuine 1400 miles on from new (one thousand four hundred miles!!!) Is that a record for being the least used car around?

I bought an Audi A3 with 120 miles on the clock, a genuine used car not a dealer demo, I paid 21k for a 26k car Very Happy , apparently a surprise birthday gift for someones wife, she turned it down and demanded a TT. the dealer repaired the scratch on the bonnet where she whacked it with her hand bag Laughing At work

My dad got his brand new Lexus with £7k off list as the chap who bought it, had his disability controls all added, decided a day before collection that he wanted a different model, just so happened my dad was in getting his car serviced, and drive home in his new car that afternoon, not sure he paid for the service though Laughing

Wifes car is a 53 plate 20k on, doesn't sound as good as the OP find Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

How about a FL2 HSE auto with less than 1,000 miles on the clock only a year old and more than £15k off list price?

Included tow pack, mats, dog guard, fire extinguisher, lamp guards, pretend bull bar, and best of all stunning orange paintwork. All lovingly fitted by LR. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

My 85yo Grandma has a 58 reg corsa with 1800 on the clock, she got that to replace the 53 reg (5year old)Fiesta that had 4000 on the clock after she got T-boned by a bus on a mini roundabout.
She does a 4 mile round trip to morrisons and the bank once a week, Its longest run is to take it for a service 5 miles away, it Drives like a bag of Censored and is so sluggish it's unbeleivable.

I remember years ago when I was Living in Gateshead in the early eighties, some guy went in to his fathers garage to tidy up as the the house was going up for sale as the old boy had recently died and in side he found a lotus cortina estate with only 11 miles on it apparently his father had a window cleaning business and bought it to do that, used it once didn't like it so went back to using his bike! don't know whatever happened to it though, still a nice find!

never knew they made an estate version of the Lotus Cortina ?

I had a Mk 1 in the early 70's, and at the time there was not much could touch it, sadly I was young ( younger ) and stupid and pranged it.

About 12-15 years ago I knew a guy who had a new/unused Ford RS200 in his wharehouse bricked up behind a wall. The day his company was being wound up he was frantically smashing the wall down to remove it-worth a cool half a million back then Shocked
