If the foam was alcohol based it would be more use, then you could drink it while you waited to be rescued. That said have you tried jacking this baby up and changing a wheel? I did yesterday while fitting mud flaps and it aint easy. The jack is a pig and the suspension travel is vast so you are winding for ever. My old 2 ton trolly jack, used on all previous cars, could not cope without being supported on a block or it ran out of travel.

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red

I used the standard jack ok to change a puncture. Doubt it would be safe doing the same in off road conditions. Main problem was the weight of the wheels, in and out of the boot! That was with the steel spare. I now have the ally which I presume will be lighter....... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

My 2008 GS had steel spare with 225-65x17 tyre, WHY a 225 instead of a 235 only LR logic can work that one out!!!!!
I beleive the final steels were upgraded to 235.
2010 GS I paid the extra for full size alloy. £180 inc vat.
Also bought 4 SE wheels with Conti 235-65x17 as new for £320 plus 200 miles of fuel to collect. That was when I had 2008 car. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

The 225's came about cos they wouldn't fit the BIW with the intended NVH.
Then along came the bean counters and some NVH was ditched.
So 235's fitted anyway.
But what do you do with a load of 225's?
You guessed. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
