I doubt if they will bother to reply, fraid to say it seems to be common throughout the Stratstone Group, to big to bother is the impression they give. The one near me is just as bad, unless you know exactly what you want and are willing to go in (by appointment) give them the order and walk out and wait for the delivery that is as far as they want to go.

The only way to get there attention is to STOP buying from them, as soon as sales start to drop they will listen. I will never buy from any part of the pendragon group total s**t. |

I wouldnt touch stratstone with a barge pole. I got a disco 2 from them. They didnt fix the things they said they would and when I tried to speak to them about it didnt even get an answer after the receptionist. Had a follow up call from them a while ago seeing how things had gone (survey type thing) and I let rip at them. All I got was the usual ''sorry you were not happy sir'' but didnt hear anything other than that. I would not touch them ever again. No matter what. |

The only dealings I have had with Stratstone Cardiff is the purchase of my FL2 last August. It was a 3 yr old car. No problems with them then but, as I was buying, I wouldn't expect any.

I can only speak as I find, my first ever visit to a Stratstone (in Hull). I had a rear side door seal unstuck for a few centimetres and they replaced complete front to back, friendly, courteous and helpful, also the car was fully valeted on return.

Thanks Stu, may consider them and wondered what they were like with modern LRs. I have used Promec for various repairs in the past but they always seem over-run with work and take days to finish a job. I think there's quite a few garages in the market place that give you all but their shirt to buy one of their vehicles. Once they go wrong (and they are out of manufacturers warranty) they dont want to know. Stratstone in Newport being one of them.
