just thought on this, what about the AUX socket on the FL2, isn't that a headphone socket in reverse, standard 3.5 jack plugged in via my kensington ipod dock gets surround sound Great when watching movies stuck in traffic, volume cranked up, Transformers blasting each other, rockets wizzing round and the bloke in the car next to you thinking what the Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Opted for some PC Speakers £30, hooked them up with the supplied red/white to headphone socket lead and...... ! I have to pump up the volume on the tv to maximum to hear anything out of the PC speakers! Looked through the menu's on the LG TV and couldnt find anything of any use. Would a red/white cable at each end plugged into the aduio out in the TV work?

If you have plugged them in via the headphone socket, they might be a separate volume control in the menu,

I've always found problems when plugging anything other than headphones into TV headphones sockets.

You could try some ATC speakers - made in the Cotswolds so must be good.
