I'm getting around 5 mpg more with the MY11 TD4 manual than I was with the MY07 TD4 manual, although still not up to the figure claimed by Land Rover |

The hse I had for a whole weekend demo was doing 30.4 mpg and that was being quite careful on the right foot. |

I had a MY11 LE 150bhp loan car today and drove c.110 miles while my MY10 HSE 160bhp was in for a service on a mix of roads. The loaner seemed faster and nippier than my own, (both auto) confirmed by a member of staff at the dealers. I have not driven the SD4 so cannot compare....Not too keen on the bling and missed sunroof, electric seats, Dab/6 cd changer and autodim rear view mirror. liked the colour, Firenze Red, shame it has been discontinued. Tempted by a D4......but dealer says not as much fun in the city.......JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

How did you manage a weekend demo, neither dealer I went too would even let me out alone. I am also a bit pee'ed off that both said Firenze red was a non starter and there are Firenze models coming through, even a used one on LR used cars? Paul |
