No mute on my 07 GS, it's a pain at times evan my van can mute from the steering wheel.

I use the "Mode" button on the steering wheel - hold it for a few seconds and it switches to AUX input - with nothing plugged into the Aux socket it is silent.

Cheers .... I'll try mode on the way home ... I bet from radio it swaps the band but I hope it works. |

Yes there is a mute button, yes press the off button!!!! Why on earth do you need a mute button! |

If they can't hear you then your'e not shouting 'SHUT UP' loud enough, I never met a radio that was louder than my chastising bellow |

Mute button would be good for switching off annoying programmes but keeping the traffic info going. You can turn the volume right down but it's still not completely silent. Have had them on various cars but not, as far as I can remember, on a LandRover |
