I would go for the new general grabber AT's, better than the at2. Very good in all road conditions and look good too. |

Unfortunately Grabber AT is not made in size 255/55-19 or 235/55-19

I too can strongly recommend the NEW general grabber A/T, and considering how much better they are off road there is hardly any difference on road compared to the conti's I took off. |

ATRs are tops. I've had 255/55/19s on my nasty, heavy Disco3 for 25,000 miles and they still have 5-6mm on them. When I get a FL2 later in the year I'll be sticking ATRs on it. Current driveway contents:

Getting rid of both. D3 is going to be replaced by an FL2 and the Def is being replaced by a Td5 Disco.

Hi all, I need to know the answer to the original question. Ive got the 19 inch wheels and would rather put 255/55/19s on, but would like to know if they would fit without rubbing. |

I've had two different answers from two different places. My local TyreWeb said "SHOULD be ok", and Andy at AJS Tyres recommended against it. On the basis that Andy knows what he's talking about and the TyreWeb guy may or may not, I haven't pursued it any further. Still interested to hear if anyone has actually fitted the 255s to the 19 inch wheels though... |

Thanks for the reply, I really fancy the at's , they're cheaper than the others and I don't fancy paying £220+ each ( I'll need to rep ace all four at the same time!)
