I always get Jags. I bet if I got a FL2 I'd be listening to it to maybe found out if mine makes different sounds. Then get worried if it does...

i have asked for a d4 when mine goes in for a service in a few weeks, problem is i will want one more then!

likewise, i want one, just can't justify the outlay at the moment

I had an e-D4 2wd last week.
Didn't like it at all, acceleration in first gear was ok (I think it is electronically restricted) but 2nd and 3rd were like an on-off switch once 1500rpm was hit. It made it very jerky to drive in traffic. It seemed to be that the turbo came in at lower revs than my 2008 HSE, and came in with no subtlety. I tried the cruise control at 30ish MPH in 4th gear and it was like the car was misfiring, power on - power off all the time. Over a longer drive it was tiring to try to drive smoothly.
Maybe I was unlucky and got a bad car.  Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!
