Can't be done, don't buy a second hand key fob as they cannot be re-programmed no matter what they say on EBay.

Have a look at this thread

I had one programed by my local independant 4x4 garage. £10 for cash.
Took him about 5 mins using his laptop.

The fob can only be programmed ONCE, then they are set with that coding for ever.

My second fob stopped charging and hence opening the doors.

I've bust it open, ordered a rechargeable battery from a seller on ebay for about £10.

The existing battery just needs to be unsoldered and the new one installing - then charging in the car dock.

As the fob is one time programmable once the new battery is put in and charged it should just work - I will be able to confirm once I've finished the job - just need a few minutes spare and i'll take some photos of what i do - and post them (when it works)

The hardest part is opening the fob - takes time and force as it seems to be quite water sealed.

If you search the forum (or look in my gallery) you'll find photos of the inside of my fob.

Hope that helps....probably just need a new battery....rechargables just don't last forever... 2002 Honda VFR800
