United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Indus Silver

Thanks again folks for your help and guidance! With a special mention to 'mcphersonstrut' who has helped by sending diagrams of brackets with detailed pictures!

The update....

Received the spoiler today with good and bad news! The condition is as such that I don't think a respray will be necessary which is a bonus! However, looking at fittings I think I must have the new style shape brackets with the single hole! I'm just hoping the brackets can be fabricated from mcphersonstrut diagrams!!

Have ordered some 3M tape (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/290509241660?ru=http...&_rdc=1)

I seem to have an early style spoiler but the later style brackets (thats ebay for you). Second Freelander 2, first time ever that I have replaced like for like.

Spoiler fitting

Hi,
i have been reading through the threads for fitting the spoiler and find myself in the same position.

i bought a spoiler off Ebay for my Freelander 2 and it came with two bolts and no brackets.

could i get hold of a copy of your diagram to make some brackets?

many thanks

Gary

Thats because it supposed to be £80 for the brackets and you get a free spoiler and 2 bolts. Laughing

Not 100% sure but I think you can get the later, single hole type brackets you can get from Duckworths, was a post requesting them last week. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
