Parking Sensors compatibility parts

Front/Rear PDC Park Distance Sensor - LR005076

Will this part number fit onto a 2008 freelander II 2.2 td4?
also if the front sensors are disconnected will the rear sensors still work

Well parts arrived and looked identical. Fitted them with no problems and tested with the ignition switched on and all worked fine with the beeping and still does, however when the engine is running I just get a one long continuous tone and no beeping. Does anyone have any ideas?
