My 2006 registered Freelander 1 now has 88k on the clock. My Freelander 2 I use now, bought in December 2010, now has just over 8k on the clock.

looks like my residuals will be low then as I expect to do about 33,000 a year as I always seem to, mainly motorways though. My last car was described as "hardy used" by the mechanics that serviced it and it did nearly 70K in two years, trouble free, didn't even wear out the brakes, hope my first LR is as well behaved. SD4 Sport LE Firenze Red - no options or modifications yet, but it's early days.

For those of us who appear to cover more than 'the average' mileage every year - we are the lucky ones as we are doing so in a Freelander - particularly if you are fortunate, as I have been, to drive trouble free motors.

The only downside is the fuel cost.....

15 months old 38000 miles and not missed a beat. I was only wrong once and thats when I thought I was but wasnt.

Mine is 4 years and 4 months old and has 43000 miles on it now. When I was last in looking at other cars, they said mine was low mileage as they expect a 4 year old car to have near on 60k miles.

- that's a LOT of mileage you've done - didn't realise a FL2 odometer went that high.

LR must have high expectations from their engines or else you're using 2SO???
