No no no! All FL2's apart from the facelift and DPF fitted cars smoke, but not ALL the time.

John F I have an auto 2.2td4 but that sort of fuel consumption is what I get towing ! are you driving it hard ?

Just filled up and manage 14 mpg on the way back! Very proud of that, I think there is more to life than comparing mpg! It really does not matter, buy a diesel yaris if you want good mpg! It really grinds my gears when people ask me what mpg I get! Usually answer don't know don't care! Its a land rover not a economical it has a purpose. |

what is the latest thinking on EGR blanking off? I have the TD4e engine and would like to do this if it can now be done without any problems. eh tu? |

I am afraid that EGR blanking is not as straightforward as it used to be. New engines nowadays are quite likely to throw a wobbly and a fault code if you blank off the EGR as the ECU thinks there is something wrong. John

Has anyone developed an ECU re-map to offset the EGR removal problems? I know this is possible with many VAG engines now. eh tu? |
