If it had a caravan on the back - it may have been considered a challenge for TG 2002 Honda VFR800

Man, if you read the article it sounds like a lynchparty. 20 year ago people would laugh about this sort of thing. Now they are upset. I don't quite get it, it's funny and I doubt it has any maliscious intent. A boyish stupid irresponsible jack-ass type of thing. He did not jeoperdize anybody but himself at best. If you read the article it sound more like he killed someone. Ok maybe an ant or two but let the guy just drive it down again, slap him on the arse and get on with life. |

He should be made to pay for all expenses, he's a f g idiot. Every inch of that funicular railway will have to be inspected for damage, if as the article stated he used the line for extra grip. Also the many thousands spent annually on footpath repair could well be wasted as a Frontera ain't the best at intelligent 4WD.

not the best thing to do with car, all the time it took to get up there and then just leave it, waste of time

I reckon he bottled it, it always looks better going up than coming down especially when you are looking at where you started 1000m below. |

He will be responsible for the cost of recovering the car. A lot more than a £200 fine!

in my opinion not any worse than the idiots who wander the Scottish hills and need the mountain rescue to recover them after tripping over a pebble and spraining their ankle !! or perhaps getting a wee bit lost in the mist, and finding for some reason the iphone doesn't work. rescued at no cost to them at all, and it happens on a regular basis. Just goes to show that if a Vauxhall can get almost the top of your highest mountain then nobody in the UK really needs a Freely. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
