Auto Trader would seem to suggest otherwise - especially when you factor in that the listed prices are often negotiable to an extent. EG: 2008 GS 37,000 miles - asking £13,995. Pretty close to my spec and under budget. You may have been offered £15,500 for your 07 XS - but it is very low mileage. Also, I presume you're buying a new one - how much discount are you getting? |

You going to buy this one then or is it too far away. Also be careful as some garages / dealers have been know to offer a car at a low price...ring up and it's sold...probably weeks ago...but they have got you on the phone! Good luck with your search |

Given the winter weather may now only be 3 months away (if last year was anything to go by) if you see a car within your price range, even if it is some way away I'd get in quick as when the snow comes prices jump by £2K |

That's my plan too..the FL2 is now the 3rd car despite being only 18 m old...bumped out by a company car..but will wait until th snow before selling...then the begging texts from the dealers will restart |

Have you bought it then? I've seen cars advertised that are there solely to entice a call to the showroom so be careful. We all have access to autotrader and other sites so can see prices but they may not all be real or may be hiding cut and shut. LR prices are lower in the summer so now is your time to buy..if you see a car in the price bracket you're looking at you might just need to drive to where it is rather than expect it to appear in your locality. I'm not alone in avoiding selling my car in the summer (soggy though it is). Happy hunting |
