Driver's door switch panel and odd window/door behaviour

Bit of an odd one....
Tried to open o/s/r passenger door yesterday and it will not open from inside or out. While trying to find out why, I realised that I couldn’t open any of the windows from the inside.
Tried to open the windows on the keyfob and 3 of them lowered – not the o/s/r though. Then tried to raise them with the keyfob and the driver’s door window refuses to budge!
So, now I’m left with an open driver’s door window and a rear door that I cannot open at all.
The driver’s door switch panel appears to be completely dead, it will not operate the windows nor the mirrors.
I have checked the 25A door electrics switches in the luggage compartment and also the 7.5A fuse for the interior lights – these are all OK. Also disconnected the battery and tried various combinations of engine on/engine off/remote locking/manual locking etc...etc...
Ideas anybody?

The solution was simple - drive the car!
For whatever reason, driving forwards at above 5 mph fixed the problem - now that it's OK, there is no easy way of checking the cause in the diagnostics.
I had a similar issue with the front luggage compartment of a Porsche - after the main dealer had spent 3 hours (at no charge) the lock started to work as I drove away!
Maybe it's me....? Shocked
