Here in Romania, the two major battery manufacturers are used to mark the age of the batteries in the same 4 digit way, just that the first 2 digits represents the week of the year.

I don't think the date would be on a sticker - most likely stamped into the plastic body of the battery. 2002 Honda VFR800 2002 Toyota Celica 140 Silver (mid life crisis - again!) 2007 FL2 GS Manual Army Reconnaissance Green + freel2.com sticker 2004 Toyota Celica 140 Black - Gone 2000 Toyota Celica 140 Silver - Gone 1998 Toyota Celica ST Pearl Green - Gone 1996 Nissan Primera 1.6 - Gone 1994 Rover Montego 1.6 Auto - Gone |

ta! so I'll have to remove battery and have a good look around it. thing is when we start it from cold its showing hdc fault on dash, did this on my D3 and it shows the battery could be on its way out. when we got the landy the dealer said they had put a brand new one on, but if the fault is showing on dash looks like its off another landy and maybe not new! |

How old is your car ? Chances are the battery will be the same age as your car as frrelander 2 is not very old yet. |

It's an 07. Didn't have a battery on when we first saw it but dealer said it would have a new one on. It only shows hdc fault at cold start, but not every time. Cheers ad I'll have a look after reading that topic |
