What instructions should I have received? I know all the meeting stuff, but what I would like is some guidance on what to bring along as I've never done anything like this before. Should I bring a shovel? Footpump? Towrope? |

Best guess is bring a sense of humour, camera, wellies, and hot drink in a flask. Water resistant clothing might be a good idea as it is Wales after all, and you may need to get out frequently if not to asses the ground, then to laugh at me and others getting stuck

Russel, No need to worry about all that stuff except for the inner man. Landcraft have been doing this for over 20 years and will be fully equiped for the very remote chance of an emergency. As it says at the top of the joining instructions it is an Adventure DRIVE on forest tracks through the spectacular Snowdonia scenery and it is set out to cater for all capabilities and skills of drivers. If you do not feel happy with a particular section there will be an alternative route. Hear what Andy131 says but it is not a trial so do not think we will be going to many places where we will get stuck. Again as Andy131 says we have all got to drive home in our cars so sit back and enjoy the day. Cheers, Bill. Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club. Licenced MSA Radio Operator for 35+ years. Have booked Friday off, have a garage full of parts, glazer on standbye, more than a little eager to get her back, just waiting for the insurance to agree.
