Totally agree! I was looking for a Rimini Red and the rip-off-merchant told me not many people order Red. His explanation was that the brouchure colour doesn't look anything like the real colour, but when they come in on part x they are gone next day! Shame they have dropped it cos the new red is cra but without wishing to start the usual arguements so are White, Black, Manuals and Caravans |

i work in the motor trade we supply greater manchester police with parts a few years ago the police up here started to buy a lot of silver, red, blue, vehicles for front line use, when the question was asked why dont you buy a lot of white cars the answer came back the when the vehicle comes to the end of its working life with the police and was sold at auction none white vehicles fetch a better re-sale value rainy-city

I assume you meant that non white vehicles fetch a better resale value? conversely, I would imagine that when it becomes known that used white cars aren't immediately thought of as worn out ex-police hacks, with ruined interiors and butchered wiring looms, then it can only help the reputation and value of used white cars! |

The reason (Ex-cop) white cars had a low second hand resale value was because everyone knew they were ex police and the market was flooded with them. Same with Vans, coloured ones are worth a few hundred quid than white ones and RED ones that are clearly ex royal mail have a lower value still, BT stopped painting their vans Yellow and then Grey, and they are worth more now they are white. |

White cars are not a fad and in warmer countries like Norway very usefull to have in the burning sun as they dont get as hot as dark colours
