Hi all , just taken delivery of my new XS , first impressions are very good , a few teething probs i hope get sorted next week , its my 1st Land Rover , had a Audi a4 quattro before , anything i should be wary of or look out for , Was it a good buy ? got a bit of a shock with the service plan , � 1500 for 1st 3 services , has to be serviced every year

If it is brand new and you did not pay over the odds it should be fine.
There will always be rogue cars, keep your fingers crossed yours is not one of them.
Most will only post when the car is problematic, not many post to say mine is fine, no point.
Shop around for servicing, �1500 is way over, unless you are happy subsidising the dealer.

BIG thing to look out for is the looks of envy from those not brave enough to buy a Land Rover.

test drove and put a deposit on the vw tiguan 1st , tested the volvo and the q5 and the kuga , mate said try the FL , so i thought seeing i,m spending a few bob i might as well ! , what a drive compared to the others , not so many gimmicks but solid , and feels right , looking back in comparision the others felt like toys , only the q5 was close , got my deposit back from VW sharpish , the only minor issue i seem to have is the wind noise when the rear windows only are open for the dogs , feels like my eardrums are gonna burst . Booked my off road day at Luton ! . bought a dog gaurd from dealer , rip off i know but i needed one sharpish , problem is i cant get the retractable parcel shelf out now , design error ?

Take it off road. Seriously, I did an LR day and was amazed by what the FL2 can do. So much so that I decided to take mine off road. This is one reason why the FL2 is head and shoulders above the competition.
