I like it, and think LR have to move with the times or stagnate and die. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

Agreed Boxer - however do you "bling" the individual models or "bling" the brand. The latter I am certain is not the right approach in moving forward. As for the former, well if the blinged Evoque (the Prestige) increases LR's penetration and grip on the compact "urban" end of that market segment it will have achieved a great tactical success. And if its cousins the "Dynamic and Pure" can possibly deliver a consolidating element of LR "autostrada & rural 4x4" credentials then this model range will have played a major strategic role in LR's survival and sustainability as a profitable niche company despite what traditionalists may wish for. I wish them every success. Personally I doubt that the Evoque will be a vehicle that graces my garage. Too small maybe to be of any practical purpose over and above what's already in there for the family to use. |
