cleaning under/on the plastic wheel arches

as yeserday was the end of the hunting season,today i given the fl2 a extra special clean underneath with a powerwasher,as i dont see any near future off roading persuits,,went on a good un tuesday by the way,the old roman road at trecastle above the usk res,almost all the way to llandovery,mid wales,stunning veiws,anyway,after the power washing the arches are clean but could do with looking blacker,if u know what i mean.i have heard off muck off the motocross boys use on the bikes,is there any pre cleaner you can recomend Idea Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. Almond Leather ,rear spoiler,rear mudflaps.my13.

Probably more work than you want, but religiously (frequently) I use this product on the arches of my Lotus. Makes removing muck a snap:

I just use Autoglym plastic and trim shine, brings it up like new. I was only wrong once and thats when I thought I was but wasnt.

I use Autoglym tyre treatment stuff... wipe on with a cloth and it comes up looking new...

I've also hear old engine oil is good also but not tried it myself! Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

Properly clean off all the dirt first then on a NON windy day spray some Autoglym vinyl & rubber care on the plastic then polish it in with an old microfibre cloth (other cloths are fine). I use this when prepping my cars for a show/event. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.
