Dealer told me some weeks ago that a new software update was expected first week in September, but having rung today it's still not out. My manufacturers warranty expires in a couple of weeks and the extended warranty doesn't cover updates so I want it quickly.

Anyone have any inside knowledge when it's coming ? _________________

My car went in to have the p033 recall looked at and I'm sure they done an update to software , that was Monday I was in. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Hopefully mine will have its software updated as its due a service in the next week or so.

Software update is only for Eco stop start and immobiliser system

Will the Dealer automatically do a software update, unless it is a critical one where they do a recall, they don't normally do them unless you have a specific problem and an update has been issued  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

My car is 3 years old tomorrow so it went in last Friday for the long awaited anti judder software update and a couple of other minor snags. The dealer didn't do the eagerly awaited update as LR report it hasn't fixed the problem !
The good news is that as I reported it while in warranty, when the next software update comes out I won't have to pay.
The service dept said they will add me to the long list of customers experiencing the low rev judder in first and second gear who want it fixed  _________________
