For Doctor Who Fans

It is with deep dolour that this morning it was announced that actress Elisabeth Sladen aka Sarah Jane died after a long joust with cancer. Crying or Very sad

Where's FL2's very own "The Doctor" and his sonic screwdriver when you really need him.....

Very sad news indeed.

I choose this theme from Doctor Who series 3 as a way of honouring her passing:

0:58 onwards is best. Excellent piece of music and I must say farewell to a good actress who will be missed.

RIP Elisabeth Sladen Sad

What a shock! Shocked The Sarah Jane Adventures on CBBC are my daughter's favourite thing at the moment, not sure how I'm going to break this one...

RIP Elisabeth Sladen.

I found this which made me laugh. I bet Sarah Jane would agree:

Children check under their beds for Monsters

Monsters check under their beds for Chuck Norris

Chuck Norris checks under his bed for The Doctor

Excellent Mr Pinks.

The Doctor: you're not supposed to be gallivanting around Brackley gate when there's a damsel in distress. I'm reporting you to the High Council for a grave dereliction of duty........

The quintessential companion... Sarah Jane was a young boy's dream. Thank you Elisabeth.

Have you seen the Mitch Benn/Dandaring2 montage? Go to http://www.mitchbenn.com/ and scroll down to "Dr Who Girl". Nice memoir from Tom Baker as well. http://www.tom-baker.co.uk/pages/content/index.asp?PageID=159

Tom's memories - an expected and wonderfully charming germane recollection. Truly the spirit of the gentleman he is.

Sorry to say until I saw a picture I hadn't a clue who she was, still I never really watched anything she was in so I don't really feel any great loss

Though she seems to be liked by a fair few as comments are springing up all over Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
