The Doctor: you're not supposed to be gallivanting around Brackley gate when there's a damsel in distress. I'm reporting you to the High Council for a grave dereliction of duty........

David Tennant's tenth Doctor on Gallifrey and the Time Lords: They used to call it the shining world of the seven systems and on the continent of wild endeavour, in the mountains of solace and solitude, there stood the citadel of the time lords. The oldest and most mighty race in the universe. Looking down on the galaxies below, sworn never to interfere, only to watch... LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

The Doctor
I've watched Doctor Who since I was a lad - from the first Doctor in B/W on our Sobel TV until around age 14 or 15 (time flies) when my parents rented a new TV when colour broadcasting commenced. So I'm very familiar with the origins and developing story lines.

I am too young to remember the older episodes but I have seen a few as my Dad also watched them from the very beginning. I am looking forward to the new series tomorrow. 'Silence will fall'. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I am sorry to say that I stopped watching it about two episodes after the current Doctor arrived Sad

Quite enjoyed Torchwood Thumbs Up But then, that might have had something to do with Eve Myles... Wink
