They are usually glued in but that glue - some sort of silicone - is melting (at least became a lot liquid and you can separte the lens from the body) when warmed up with a hair dryer. |

Yea, but can you just buy the glass? Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

Normal headlamps are on ebay for around £25 ..... Might be worth a look. |

No you cant is the short answer. They are a sealed unit, hence the hairdryer to soften the glue to part them. |

But take your time when softening the silicone. It isn't a job for impatient ones.

Yea but what are you going to replace it with if you can't buy the glass. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

It's a mod they do on the D3 site. They remove the orange in the headlight and reseal. Off the top of my head, if you watch it, you just reseal it with the same glue you softened to start with, but do a search on the D3 site and all will be explained. |

Yea but what will you replace the lens cover with, cos you can't buy it separate. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

Bit of cling film? Dunno, you cant buy the lens separately that I do know. Maybe you could carry out some mods on the headlight, put fairy lights in? |
