Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

£26 Shocked thanks ad..... Bow down - Ill get somebody to send them in the post next time Laughing

We never use plain water or any such product as “rainex”. It is normal here to fill the windscreen washer tank with a pre-diluted windscreen washer fluid (containing alcohol) in both summer and winter. For normal use is has a freezing point of -15C (for spring/autumn) use, but the freezing strength is increased for winter use. The stuff is sold in 5-litre cans and is readily available at all filling stations, car accessory shops and even many supermarkets. This washer fluid does not make any wiper noise and cleans the screen for crystal clear vision. Don’t you have that/do that in the UK Question 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

The carlack glass sealant I use, I get no wiper skip at all

Though it's wearing off on the windscreen it's getting a slight smear, but that could be due to the salt etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Could you please explain to an ignorant what's the connection between RainX, windscreen and flat blade wiper?
I know what RainX is, but why doesn't work?

It must be due to the rubber compound used, normal wipers are fine but flat blades seem to judder, this is not just LR wipers other vehicles which have the flat blade wipers seem to have the same problem.

For what it's worth, I am using Rain-X and have had no problems with skipping. My screen has been covered in ice 4 or 5 times now. Maybe it hasn't been a problem because the Rain-X is still fresh?
