Our D3 not long after we got it had this warning come on intermittently, and also a mate's RRS, and it turned out to be faulty sensors. I know they're different cars but if it's under warranty get it looked at.

Are you sure it was the coolant level and not the screen wash level instead ??? |

Once I had the same message, there was a small leak in the cooling circuit. I had a small hose changed under warranty and that was all about. Later was a recall for the same issue. I think that this happens only to the i6 engines like mine. |

I had similar problem a month or two back, checked the level and all seemed ok, however my drive has very slight slope to the front and I noticed that that the warning was only coming on when it was parked on the front of the drive. Topped up with replacement coolant from LR, to just between Min & Max and have had no warning light since. |

It happened again this morning, started it up and "Low Coolant Level" flashing at me. It's got plenty of coolant in there.

Well took it in, and the garage is like a building site from doing a refurb. Got chatting to 1 of the mechanics, Really nice chap, he thought it was due to the extreme cold, but fiddled around the car and added some extra coolant and said it should be fine.
