Facelift Freelander Wheels

Shocked Just looking at the new Freelander on the LR www, cannot believe how much they are charging to upgrade the wheels. Not wishing to cover old ground but to upgrade from standard XS or HSE wheels to 19" Shadow Chromes or the 19" Triple Sports £2789 & change Shocked , even 18" Iffy's are £2529 Shocked I don't recall this much of a cost to upgrade in the pre facelift model. Is it an error on the site as there is still a bit of updating to be done yet, I can see in a year or so wheels being dumped on Tatbay again to clear stocks.

They are accessory prices as opposed to upgrading at the factory.

With the accessories you end up with two sets of wheels as opposed to one, hence the cost as you are paying for a set as opposed to paying the difference.

James Thumbs Up

PS What are Iffys? The name seems to be cropping up regularly. Confused

Thnks for clearing that up James, so LR have not got the www up to speed yet, if you try to Build your Freelander this is what it adds to the price, is it designed to put buyers off Question

18 inch 5-Split Spoke Alloy Wheel and Tyre - Sparkle Silver Finish are affectionately known as Iffy's as they have been purchased in the past by the "Odd" Whistle Freelander owner in error thinking they were the type fitted to the HSE.

Those wheels are called "StyleTwo". here in CH. You can "upgade" (haha) to those from standard "GS" wheels for the small consideration of SFr 560 each. That's approximately UK£ 350 each at this morning's FX rates Shocked
