This look just what I'm looking for, but a stupid question. Where do the controls go on the steering wheel, do you need to cut out a hole for the controls ???

Blinged Freelander , thanks for the excellent tutorial. Put a search in last week and up popped your old thread which was easy peasy to follow. I recently purchased a soft touch wheel from a forum member and was able to exchange it with my old one in no time. |

Sorry about posting to an old thread, but I would like to retrofit cruise control to my 2010 fl2. Do I only need the switch or do I need a control unit too?

Actual steering wheel remote control only. Just follow the guide, dead easy.

That's brilliant! Thank you very much. This is a great forum - I'm not used to such quick replies, especially in an old thread. |

I know this is an old thread but this info is really useful. I'm a little confused as to what is required to retrofit Cruise Control. Some say a cruise module is required, others say just the switches on the wheel. Mine is a 2007 S manual.
