I'm guessing this was one of the first conversions - possibly before anyone knew about reprogramming to get rid of the flicker. FWIW, I bought these off him in 2014 and as far as I know they are still going strong in my old FL2 that I sold late last year. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

It is indeed only a quick update of the CCF to enable the xenons to work.
I fitted some to mine (60 Plate) this time last year, and they have performed faultlessly since.
Mine are the adaptive ones too, but obviously this part won't work.

Thanks Guys,

I PM'ed Udash and it was just a timing thing. He was at the bleeding edge and found a way to resolve the issue before it was known about the CCF update. Without people like him trying these things would wouldn't get anywhere.

I've picked up the new lights and will arrange for the CCF update ASAP and then swap them over. Fingers crossed I'll be able to see at night soon.

Regards,

Dz

Update: Replaced the lights and had the CCF changed...all working great.
