Anyone know why I cannot erase the phonebook from the car's memory?

Only one phone synced with the car, which I deleted and subsequently re-synced. It seems as if although I removed all phones, the phonebook still remained and without a phone synced, I couldn't get to the phonebook to delete anything! |

I may be wrong but I thought that the padlocks came on for some functions when the car is moving? When stationary - total access? it thought it was to make you concentrate on driving by not allowing you to fiddle about with the functions. While moving you only get to access small range of functions. Now...... that could all be total b******s! RR |

Thanks, that seems to fit with when the padlock is there and when it isn't!
