Dog guards

Hi all. Need a dog guard for the FL2, but not sure I want to spend the £200+ for the genuine article. Anyone know of any good brands to look at? Cheers.

I managed to get one of these for a very good price from a member on here very easy to fit, no drilling and when its in it won't move and a lot cheaper than LR ones.
Keep your eye on the online auctions also.

I looked at the travall guard, whick looks ok, but decided on the Land Rover one.

You will need to keep an eye on ebay, but i missed out on 2 which went for inbetween 70 and 80 english pounds.

There is one on ebay at the moment, but currently at over £120, which is a bit much, just keep your eyes peeled Shocked

In the end, our lab just happily sits in the back, and rests his head on the back headrest! So need for one.

What a good dog.....saved me all that dosh!!! which i can spend on firelighters, matches..... i love fire me!!! Twisted Evil Anyhoo off oot on me mobike.....

You should have been here 20 years ago when farmers where allowed to walk into a huge field of unwanted straw and light it. That was scary fun... I only needed the fire brigade once.

other than that I refer you to my post about our local arsonist, fires are not a toy Evil or Very Mad , my poor barn burnt for nearly 24 hours. it was 50m long 18m wide and full to the rafters with bales of straw. Oh and a barn owl used to live in the barn too Neutral At work

Torn between the Travall guard as it is in stock and the LR one which isn't but due in hopefully in next 2 weeks (which is cutting it fine for when I need it by) - Seems like there is a shortage of LR ones and they are on backorder at the moment. Think the LR one will be better as it protects the back of the rear seats as well as stopping the dog climbing over. Thanks for your replies.

Look on the bright side, I suppose it was a tasty meal instead of chicken Twisted Evil

You can get a liner for for the back which will protect the back of the seats also the sides with the added bonus of a flap which you lay over the bumper to stop Fido causing any damage whilst getting in and out. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

We have Border Collies so I didn't want to take the chance because with them if there's a will there's a way. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Looks like the cheaper Travall guard plus boot liner is the best option. Gonna trawl through some of my Landy mags to see if any are up for sale in the small ads. Alaskan Malamute, what a fantastic looking dog! Ours is a Flat Coated Retriever. Ad / Rebbitt - were your boot liners from Uk Custom Covers?
