United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Zermatt Silver
Audio Connectivity Module

Yesterday just installed a Field Evaluation ACM unit on my HSE (MY10). Took me about 2hrs with the kids interrupting me Thumbs Up , fairly easy to do. Have loaded up some pictures of the process. Works very well. And no the iPod does not show on the radio, but is fully controlled by the steering wheel controls Cool .

Hope this helps anyone thinking about putting an iPod/MP3 player in the car. Also runs USB up to 4G and L/R Audio feed from external CD/DVD.

Hi.

Great job.

After installation, any information about what's playing is show on head unit? Or just AUX? 2007' Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Tambora Flame

I really am still in 2 minds about this module. I have an iphone and want like many others to play music off it and have some basic controls. But when looking at cost and limited functionality i keep googling double din head units.

Its a difficult call and one i may have to bluff past SWMBO Sport LE Lago Grey

I have this kit also. But most of the time is useless.
Just play, forward and then guess what's playing... 2007' Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Tambora Flame

Hi Carvalho,

The Head unit only shows AUX, you would need the iPod out of the glove box to see what is playing. The user manual does explain how to select a Playlist, Artist or Shuffle. Controlled via the Phone controls and steering wheel audio controls.

Over the older version; having it in the glove box is a benefit from "light fingers" looking into the car to see what they can borrow Twisted Evil
