Having just got my 1st freelander I would have liked the HSE but settles for an XS auto as it had most of the goodies.
I am surprised at some of the ommisions on a car that retails at £30,500. On a car at this price I would have expected a leather steering wheel and armrests, bot can be ordered at extra cost but are standard on the HSE.
For me the most annoying ommision is the lack of a fully adjustable seat. you have no control over the seat angle, if they did'nt want to fit the extra motor they could have fitted manual adjustment.
The CO2 emmisions are the worst in the sector, all of the others being under 200 (even the volvo XC60 which is over 200BHP). But at the end of the day even with this I still bought one and do really like it.
