United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black
New FL2 GS Owner

My FL2 GS was delivered on Tuesday Very Happy and the smile has just gotten bigger as the days have gone by. I have not had a chance to drive it a lot until today as it has just been used to go to the station and back home from work.
But today, I got to go for a drive for a couple of hours and I totally love it. Smile Its brilliant to drive. A completely different drive to my Civic which I part exchanged and even though I loved the Civic, I think I love this more.

Fingers crossed that it stays problem free.

A special thanks to Matthew and James from LPR. I bought it from them and I cannot in anyway fault their service. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with them, and if anyone on here is looking for a new FL2 or any other Land Rover, I would definitely recommend LPR. I wish other dealers looked at the customer service offered by LPR and tried to incorporate it and I bet they would have much better sales.

A few pics taken today for you all to enjoy. I hope you like them. Thumbs Up

Thanks all for your comments.
No chrome accessories for me. The only change I might make at the moment is to change the interior lights with LEDs.

I think the rear spoiler does make it look better Whistle

It was washed just before I clicked these pics but not stayed that way since Sad I think thats the only disadvantage of a black car.

It sure is Leighams Road - adm, are you from around these parts? I have seen a couple of FL2s around here.

Well done on your choice and welcome. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well.

What is wrong with accessories? That is why manufacturers produce them so you can personalise your vehicle. They wouldn't make them if there was no market! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

Doc scratches his head.....

EV Don’t you keep buying "stock clearances" of LR bits that people don’t buy because....nobody wants it?

Just give it up mate and please for the love of god lower your sensitivity a little Rambo, you MUST know that your "very specific brand of customisation" is very, very uncommon - I get that's exactly what you wanted but 99.9% of people don’t want their cars to look anything like that as they use them to drive around in to get from A toB not as advertising boards, and would infact be plain embarrassed to be see in it - it's shameless, vulgar advertising - but I know that’s your MO so its perfect for you Thumbs Up

I don't keep buying LR stock clearances so get your facts right - all I bought were a few of the headrest kits & the only reason why they were disposal items is they were excessivly overpriced in the first place except I guess if you have loads of money then it is no object. I really don't give a toss if you think mt FL2 is over accessorised as it is too boring in it's standard form IMO & I have recieved many comlementary comments from many people - one of who is a regular customer of mine who probably like you has more money than the vast majority of us & he thinks it is a very good adverisement indeed. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
