Fair enough but one or two people posting seem to give the impression that I have been to Halfords etc & stuck all sorts of tak on but they are all genuine factory parts. Chrome mirrors are from Chromium tech but look exactly the same as factory only a third of the price & many cars have chrome or colour coded mirrors as standard rather than cheap looking black plastic. Chrome fender vents simply are a shiney version of the original. Many have side steps & or roof rails & roof rails are very common on most 4x4's & estate cars & are standard fit on many. Driving lamp pods were very popular on FL1 but I suspect most were put off on FL2 by the supply & fitting cost. Front bumper styling cover I guess is like Marmite - like or hate it but works well with the lamps & helps protect them & gives the vehicle more of a rugged 4x4 look. Lamp covers are a gimmick & a pain in the arse as they hinder cleaning/drying & are a waste of time in what they are designed for as they may protect the lights but mess up the wing in a bump though bought these off ebay cheap in a whim but would remove them if it wern't for the fact there are holes in the wing lol. Wood dash trim kit yes was on a disposal list to brighten up a rather plasticy looking console & you would have to be insane or on drugs to buy that at the LR retail price. HST kit - I only have front & rear parts as the sides are colour coded so didn't need it & the rear part I was in the right place at the right time as I only paid £48 delivered for that. When my FL2 was in the showroom with all other bits fitted other than the front HST kit I probably wouldn't have bothered having it fitted as it was fine without but I had allready paid for it to be painted so would have been stuck with it. I have a lot more than 5 and I'm going to shoot / blow up / drive over / throw out of the window every one of the f11ckers that has range rover written on them when I land at work on Monday. |
